    I have a cat problem.

We had a cat give birth TWICE in my hammock..
got them all adopted. The parents neutered.
    All except the male cat...

Flash forward, there's more cats. All feral.
We have a black cat, and a tan one to get rid of.

So I set a live trap, and caught on of the two. Drove to a nice rich area, and released it.
The shelter would kill it, I just wanted it away from me.

    Come home, set the trap...

    Guess what I caught???

ANOTHER black cat... yes, there are many of them.
Like clones in star wars, they keep coming.
Of course the adult ones are too smart for the traps.

I just want to relax without smelling cat piss on everything...

People are so irresponsible for abandoning their pets.
There's no free spaying or neutering, so it cost me $50 each animal for four cats.

I'm resorting to drive 30km away for this one...

Haha. I have a stray in my hood and sometimes I get a whiff of cat piss walking outside my house early in the morning when I leave for work. It irritates me.

i think that some pet shops sell special chemical that are unharmful to grass people and cats but they are stinky for cats and dogs. not a smell you might feel yourself too. ask around.

oh and by the way the cats will be avaoiding your grass but will surely pee more in your neightboor's one :D

I have the same problem, I dont have cats myself and I like to enjoy my garden when the weather allows it.. tho all the neighbours have cats and have them wandering around outside.. so actuall cats with owners
If you ask me you should keep your animals inside the house in a city if you wish to keep them so they don't bother other people... as now they love to come in to my garden for a piss and a shit.. making it smell like crap there and if thats not enough when I put the occassional garbage bag out they break it open for a meal and leave a rampage! I'm starting to really hate cats! but there is nothing I can do.. the only upside is that I never saw a mouse near my house :p

Ah cats, i got 2 cats and they just annoy the crap out of me. One is friendly and viscious at the same time comming and sitting on you herself before taking a disliking to being clapped and the other like to piss in the area behind the tv even though she has a nice cat littler box.

i really like cats and have always had cats most of my life but they can be a pain in the ass sometimes. There are stuff you can get to deter cats from pissing which is we need in my house but don't know how good they are at working

You guys mention all these things you can buy at the pet shop to prevent cats from entering an area or not pissing etc, but I remember seeing a docu on this where they tested most known products and the cats hesitate for a moment and then just continue with their daily routing (so it doesnt seem to work all that good) besides that I dont want to pollute my fruit trees and grass.. :/

Would you like them then? I can post them to you.

It's that or turn them in to the shelter and certain death.

I hate your cat. So does raymond. Especially when I put your cat on his back when he's asleep....

I had a cat too. I hated it. I got rid of it. It's now dead. I gave it back to my Sister, and she put it in the humane society. yikes

 everyone hates my cat except my mom and sister. if anything goes wrong, we blame it on the cat. if someone doesn't put their dishes away, blame it on the cat. if the microwave breaks, blame it on the cat. i swear, that cat doesn't contribute anything to the household. i don't eve know why we have it...

ok, quick story about my cat.

One night my brother and were sleeping. then all of a sudden my dad burst into the room, we sat up, my dad was in his whitey tighties (he's about 5'7" 200+), and the cat was flying across the room into the wall. my brother and i were shocked. my dad walked out and when everything was calm we both started laughing hysterically! we couldn't believe what we just saw. the next morning we found out that the cat had scratched my mom's face or something in the middle of the night. so she screamed, my dad woke up, chased the cat into our room in his underwear, and through it against our far wall. how that cat is still alive today is a mystery...
