    Heya guys,

just started collecting japanese Cave shmups on X360, and I was wondering if anyone here could point me to a source(maybe in Japan) where I can buy them for a reasonable price, I´m after first print limited editions and also non limited japanese editions.

I usually buy from Amazon (.com, .co.uk and .de)

I got Mushi Mushi Pork/ Pink Sweets First Print Ltd Edition, some PAL ones and some Platinum Editions but I really want to avoid Platinum games bc I´m collecting.

    I have a jpn X360 and a PAL one.

thx for reading and hopefully someone can give me a push in the right direction.

Pink Sweets 1cc is almost impossible without the infinite lives trick (which isn't as immoral as it sounds, everyone uses it to break highscores cause effective scoring remains difficult).

I got most of mine at Play-Asia.

However, some games are region locked (Ketsui, Dodonpachi series) and I was wondering where I could get a Japanese Xbox 360 at a reasonable price.

Could you, like, tell me more about it? :d

On paper Pink Sweets sound easy, use sheild aborb bullets blast......... But noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo you die every 10 seconds due to the halfassed stage design. No wonder it was bundled with Muchi Muchi Pork the game is too horrible to sell alone.

By the way interesting tidbit the official English Cave twitter feed hinted Ketsui may in fact be heading to the west after 5 years!

This thread should contain all the info you need.

Pink Sweets may not be as accessible as other Cave games, but that's because it's aimed at fans of the original Ibara (and Batrider, Garegga), therefore it's of course hard as nails.

Considering that you didn't even know the most simple basics in Ketsui and Daioujou when you played it for your videos, I just can't take any complaint about difficulty from you seriously anymore. And imagining you play Pink Sweets on the same "skill level" makes it just absurd that you seriously critique "stage design" of the game. You probably just played it once, didn't find the shot button and died before writing this evaluation lol.

I've put a few hours into it this includes the shot button and I STILL died at points I shouldn't have. I just have no idea how to survive in this thing. I didn't even find Ibara THIS hard.

my old play throughs are just that old play throughs. I've improved slightly since then. I'm training with DDP Resurrection and Akai Katana and being a bit more cognizant of where the hit box is.

which I have but I haven't really figured Akai Katana's Scoring system out yet.

jep, just die with no reason, this sounds exactly like pink sweets.

I already make it up to stage 5/ stage 6 with 1 credit but no way to make it through the whole game(and I 1cc Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 in Maniac) but this is really killing me.

btw: @godofhardcore: did you get all achievements for ddp resurrection? I managed to enter the secret route in lvl 1 but i didnt get all achievements for the middle bosses, dunno why. I didnt die though.

Found this place, www.jap-sai.com - Cave they sell NTSC-J games at a reasonable price :)
