this one is for the japan residents

lets discuss Case covers and where to find them!

Every game, CD, mag I found in Japan was safely stored and preserved in a custom sized baggie, or as they're called, game case covers.

Last time I went to Japan I brought a couple of NAGAOKA brand "CD P Case OP Cover" for the CD games back home, these are the ones with an adhesive flap.
These along with some Vinyl/LD sized baggies were found in a single Tower Records shop, one in Shinjuku I think

I also found in a large manga shop in Akiba a different type of cd and dvd baggies, made of tougher plastic (similar to the one used to hold the insert in a dvd case)
There are named simply CD/DVD Case cover, im not sure about the brand (MIE² perhaps?), these dont have a flap and are open on top.
I bought regular CD, single, maxi, wide and DVD and found all sorts of interesting uses for them!
The dvd sized ones are great perfect fit for the cardboard Megadrive/32x/Jaguar/SC3000 cases but are surprisingly loose for a standard dvd case
Some of the CD sizes are excelent for MegaCD and PAL Dreamcast cases.

However the gameshops have all sorts of baggies of all shapes and sizes that fit perfectly in every Famicom box, custom boxes, loose carts, mangas, magazines, etc

I was only able to find 2 shops that carried these case covers, anyone know where to get more or where to get these different types like the ones used in gameshops?

Im returning to Tokyo in a few weeks and would love to get some more to "bag" the rest of my collection xD

My first idea - as with most "where to buy" questions - would be 100 Yen shop and then Tokyu Hands.

Yep, Daiso (100 yen shop) sells them and any other quirky thing you may require.
