:smt043 those games are just horrible. I wish I never broke the seal on mine just to see how bad they really are. Oh well

preciesly why I dont want to open these. But does that mean if I get a bootlegged version it will run fine unmodded?

Good luck downloading CD-i games as you suggested... who'd want to waste their time ripping them and bandwidth uploading them?

You know what to do if you wanna know if you can run copied CDs on it? COPY A CD AND TRY IT!!!!! ;)
Hope the PC will accept the disc, CD-i is a custom format that isn't read by a PC without decoders

That doesn't sound good. I hope you can get it out of there without damaging anything.

Just turn the computer off and put a needle inside that little hole on the front of the drive. Here's one so you can see what to look for:

Sorry for the blurry picture, but right now I only have a cell phone camera

My PC is ok now :)

That was very weird, though! Hmm, wonder how they're ripped then......

I guess with one of the tools for reading that format... its not red book or whatever.

most drive should have a hole on its face plate where you can put in a flatten out paper clip or something similar to eject the drive tray manually...

think this was started with Mac as I used to carry flatten out paper clip with me during unit time to eject disk and etc from Mac at the lab. :)

    cheers
