ive been tring to make a game boy emu for the dc lately. ive had no luck with any self boot tools. i read on dcemulations board that you can "Crack" an existing image (nrg or cdi) and insert your roms that way. any know of any good programs that can do this? can 'ISO Buster' do it? cause i have it, but i cant get it to put my rom folders in the image. im using a .nrg image, but i can use the .cdi if its easyer.
I don't know what you mean by cracking but cracking is hardly necessary. There must be instructions bundled with those emulators.
Use daemon tools. It creates a virtual CD/DVD ROM drive where you can load up CD/DVD images of all formats. Once you "loaded" up the image you can then drag and drop the games. Theres also this program that makes the image into a self-boot DC disc. I forget the name and I think you can find it at dcemulation. The program was meant for another emulator but I got it working with a few games.
i figgured out the problem with self boot. i just had too many roms to fit. the simpleist explanation is almost always the correct one thanks for your help anyway fellas.
