Hey Guys I got in about 500 CDs for the Dreamcast in Japan that I'm going to list for sale in my web store. As they're sitting on the shelf I'm looking at them and thinking how much of a pain in the ass it's going to be to scan all of them in for a product photo. I do front and back, then have to edit them together to make a single pic, etc. I did that for my 500+ Sega Saturn CDs and it's not something I'm looking forward to doing again. So I was thinking...why not just create a master database of the CD pictures? Something that could be shared on several websites, mine included. The ones on VGRebirth.com are too small to use for sales. I scan mine in and save them at 500 x 500 pixels. I want people to be able to see the screen shots on back. I'm more than happy to contrubute all of my Sega Saturn pics to the cause. In return I'd like to get copies of any Dreamcast pics that are already done. I can also contribute any other scans that I'm going to do in the future. I'll be getting in a few thousand PSX, N64, and SFC games in next month. It seems like work that has been duplicated too many times so why not just make one list to end the waste of time...
Your more than welcome to use my scans if you'd like. Not sure if you used any of the Saturn ones as we discussed back when.
