    you'll adjust the laser and off you go... laser life is greatly reduced but that's the price you pay...

    Why bother? CD-Rs are cheap as chips, and still MUCH cheaper than CD-RWs. under £4 for 50 CD-Rs, or the same price for 10 CD-RWs. That's a no-brainer, really.
