CDX collection for $1,600 - nice price or crack pipe?

Its been ages since I saw a CDX in its original box and this one comes with the original carrying case (didn't know it had one:wink-new but $1,600 is a lot of money and the games it comes with some are great and others not so, like the one with barney on it.

Is it worth $1,600?

 

I hope the seller kept his receipt so he can get refund on whatever he is smoking.

Yeah, that's way too much, especially because most of those games he included are cheap as hell (pretty much all of them except the Lunar games).

Hell I looked around and saw another CDX in box for "only" $1200.

I really find it hard to believe the box adds another thousand dollars to the purchase price of a system, no matter how rare it is.

 

That's a lot of money for basically the boxed CDX. The games aren't worth much and I would pay the extra for a carry case.

 

I bought boxed CDX in perfect condition w/ 30 CD games, 40 carts (15 loose, rest in boxes with manuals), and a Justifier for about $380 so yeah, that's way overpriced. Well, games were worth 250+ alone, so it was very cheap but this one isn't even close to 400-500.

 

Its is not a deal, but I can't honestly say I have ever seen a cdx case let alone one that is boxed.

 

Total crack pipe, CDXs aren't that rare to begin with, and I remember boxed ones were somewhat easy to find since the thing was so overpriced nobody bought one.

This one actually makes more sense, $12k is still a fucking lot of cash but at least you get a respectable set.

With the CDX all you get is a carrying bag that sold for $30 and that you will never ever use
