I'm just wondering what this is worth. I spent about $90. It seems to be the original casing meaning it wasn't destroyed and repaired like many are. Anyone familiar with this?n IMG_1924.JPG

Honestly I wouldn't pay more then 50 bucks for one, then again I was there when the chinese seller was offloading their massive stock of the things and watching them go for 20 bucks and such. Wish I jumped on them since now I see those people are flipping them for 100 bucks and more.

I’ve seen bundles of them on eBay too, but they sell them for some ridiculous price

Yeah, well I'm talking like 6-10 months ago when the chinese company that we figured had been commissioned to destroy them all had decided to list them all on ebay. I scored a Zelda NFR cart for super cheap, cause I was actually interested in it, but I wasn't so interested in anything pokemon for the DS, so I didn't pull the trigger on the distribution carts they had.

Chinese company commissioned to destroy them? Please tell me more. I knew they were supposed to be destroyed, I have no idea who was supposed to do that, or how so many got out

well I don't know much about it. When I was looking at the zelda cart I posted it here wondering if it was fake since it was in China. It turns out they were legit carts, and someone here posted about how a chinese company was commissioned to destroy them. I can't seem to find that thread right now though...

No problem. I took a look but damn it's hard to find.
Looking at my ebay history I ordered the cart in may 2017, I've looked for threads with my posts in them in everywhere in that time period around every forum that makes sense..still can't find it! I'm stumped..

I was searching the forum and the web myself. I read a page that said that the carts were likely supposed to be sent to a Nintendo waste Management facility at Nintendo of America. No idea if that’s true, can’t find anything to back it up so the Chinese company story may in fact be the truth
