change in game text from japan to english

hello dreamcasters the thing i try to do is rather a difficult and pretty much advance. i own a pal resident evil code veronica for dc also i own on my ps2 the resident evil code veronica x. my opinion the dreamcast version is supperior. i also have a copy of biohazard code veronica complete. the complete version is the 2nd version that is known as resident evil code veronica x. now that i want is to hack the japan version to display english like the one i have on ps2. does anyone else know how to change languages from one to another??

 

Most likely it doesn't have English language on the disc, as it was released in Japan before it was translated, my guess.

The only way would be to modify game files.

That depends on game engine and how complex the files are. I cannot tell you because I do not have access to discs, but it could be quite difficult.
