Need a US NES system, just the system (and maybe the joypads), it should be working even if the 72 pin plastic part doesn't. Hell even the motherboard would be fine... needs to be shipped to Belgium.

I've got a spare system that I've put a brand new cart edge connector in... what kind of cost are you thinking of? Shipping is also a big determining factor here as shipping from the us would cost a bit i fear- cheaper without the power supply of course....

Well the clue is in the word "Cheap", free would be ideal for example. Still tell me how much you want and what the cheapest form of post with registration is.

Just FYI, the retro NES market is actually starting to build steam in the US right now. It's like the early days of the retro Famicom market a few years back. Personally I think it's due to the Wii VC and people getting nostalgic for the "real thing."

If you do deal in US NES stuff, you should keep an eye out for bundle packages. Old "toaster" systems should always be affordable simply because there were so many made (esitmates are that one in three US homes owned a NES) but the AV units are the ones to watch. Buying and reselling on the upswing is always good. ;)

Nes have dried up. I used to use them for target practice years ago they were so plentiful.

It really is insane. The NES is a great system, but the fact that many places will charge $50 for it and then the N64 is $20 and GC is $30 is crazy. Considering how iffy some systems are regarding the cartridge connector the most I would want to pay is probably around $30. Lucky for me I got both of mine for free.

Indeed it is insane, again more to do with greed and "Retroness" rather then good old supply and demand as a quick look on Ebay will show that there are a lot of machines listed for $50, $60 and even $100 (and more)but the vast majority of these machines are unsold (as clicked completed listings will er show this) and that most of them do sell for less then $30 with a couple of games...

There have been a few machines going for under $10 but the bastard sellers didn't want to ship them outside america. Personally I rather give the cost of about 4 beers to someone on here and I get to run Final Fantasy as the bastard game won't work very well on a PAL machine (yes CIC chip disabled) only showing the first four lines of any dialogue with rest hiding under a flickering line.

Jamtex, I have a US NES for sale working fine with mario/duckhunt.
(allthough some other games it blinks so the internal connector may be a bit dirty or dying)

I am in Holland so shipping to Belgium should be cheap and in the 15 euro range I guess.
You can have the NES for 20 euro incl. some carts the pad & gray us lightgun & all the original cables/powersupply.

Carts by head: Mario&Duckhunt US/Mario 3 US & Chinese pirate cart with Mario1/2/3/lostlevel etc.

PM if interested I'll check the exact shipping price.

EDIT: checked: shipping is € 13,10 or come and visit Amsterdam, i'll throw in a free tour of the city ;-)
