Now this is funny. Every single time a new platform comes out, Chinese make a cheap clone. I remember PolyStation which looked like every other PlayStation you've ever seen, except when you opened the lid, instead of the lens you were surprised by a cartridge slot. Nes on a chip once again. Now check out these videos and tell me if the Chinese have done it again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GESzyKelxXY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SNv2xEyyeg
Its funny how the majority of the comments think its a joke. If they only knew how much of a copy cat the Chinese can be.
Hmmm I think I have heard of those ripoffs, and they make me very intrested in getting those obscure crappy games(ripoffs, what ever)
Ha! That they do! There are tons of these. I once played a GameBoy Advance SP which actually played normal LCD B/W Tetris. Same with normal GameBoy Advance rip offs. And they didn't even have the LEDs. And to think they make these. There has to be a huge market for those things. Ah, China. Land of strange rip offs, weird hacks and souch. Some of this stuff can get pretty pricey with time. Take "Tekken vs Virtua Fighter" for example [Genesis / MegaDrive]. Actually it spells Taken vs Virtual Fighter. I think.
THere are now Nintendo DS Lite clones with the same crappy games installed. They even come in many different colours ! Surprisingly they look pretty good until you pick one up. Yakumo
Do they actually expect to fool people with those? How stupid would you have to be to look at one of those and go, "Duh!! It's a PSP! Sure, it lacks all the important features of a real PSP, but hey, it looks somewhat similar!" But then maybe that's not their aim. Maybe they're targeting people who can't afford a "real" gaming system. But who would want a crappy system that looks like a good system? That only accentuates that fact that it isn't the system that it's imitating, because it'll be blatantly obvious to anybody who looks at it for more than half a second that it isn't that system. Just imagine one of your friends coming up to you and going, "hey, is that the new DS Lite?!" "Yeah, sure it is! Didn't you know that 'Nintendo DS Lite' is spelled 'Blintiendo PS Schmlite' and plays crappy LED games?" Perhaps I am thinking about this a bit too much...
