I need to know whether there is an AV input for that lovely monitor on the dash. The first thing I'd have done when I got it home was make sure it did! ;-)

Other than that, it looks a great car. Now go tidy that garage so it fits without smashing the old CRT at the end lol

    LOL Parris

It has an adapter, but I haven't tried anything out, I think its just for music. I already checked, they don't have an SDK for the hardware from lexus :(.

This one doesn't park itself, but it has sensors to alert you if you get close to things (like the crt in my garage) :).

The nav sounds like a hot chick too, so thats a plus!!!

Bah! learn to drive a manual! :p
Nice car, Even if I am of the opinion that for luxury cars the germans can't be beaten. Whats the white car to the right? Looks quite nice

The Lexus looks nice, though I'm not really a luxury car fan myself. I bet it can get up and go. Have you topped it out yet?

It's a Mustang. Gen 4, looks like an early to mid 90's model. Nothing too special really.

A '95 convertible, by the look of the rear light cluster/window.

That Lexus looks to be a nice set of wheels, BTW.

With exception to the rear styling which for me looks to stubby in proportion to the rest of the car it looks to be a great car. I realy like the frontend which reminds me of the BMW Z3. Congrats on your buy.

    Thanks guys,

I already see the comments about german cars :) I was in debate for 2 weeks over the BMW 335i and the Lexus IS 350.

Basically it came down to price, the 350 with taxes and everything was 6.5k cheaper. I just didn't want to spend over 50k on a car. I also thought about the 328i but again, that was a slower car than the lexus by far and the features weren't as nice (luxery wise) compared to the lexus.

The white car is a 95 Mustang, good eye guys! :)

The only feature I wish this car had is realtime traffic, I couldn't believe this car didn't have that. Looks like lexus still hasn't put that into all the cars.

Besides that I love the ride to work everyday! Plus, its a freaking lexus. My last car was a 98 ford escort!!!! HAHA

Is that lexus the V8 model or the v6?

BMWs are nice, but I'd get at least the 5xx series and up for a true luxurious car.

If you want a REALLY smooth ride with lots of trunk space then get a Cadillac. There is a reason why old people drive them.

    It's a V6 (300 hp).

I checked out the caddy's. They were a bit too big for what I was looking for. This is a 4 door car, but the back seats are almost useless, they could have easily made this a 2 door car. I guess they didn't want a model to compete with their SC line.

Sure beats our Volvo. I don't like the dash though, that fake Camry wood effect bleh. Lexus are nice but I prefer their bigger models such as the GS or ES. Also because I have trouble with my long legs!

I like Lexus. Too bad they are so difficult to see down here.

Lexus / Toyota Brazil only sells the LS 430 , LS 460 L , ES 330 and the ES 350. Obviously they cost a small fortune.

I'm glad you choose it instead of BMW ( Chris Bangle destroyed BMW.). But i don't get why a automatic? 300HP but no manual gearbox?

I driven automatic cars and i simply hated it. But it seems it's an american tradition, you guys like automatic cars right? (I'm not criticizing, so don't take it as that)

Anyway, congrats on the new car. I drive a 1998 Citroën Xsara VTS, and although it's a very great car is nowhere near as good as yours, specially in the luxury department.

OTD was about 44k. It's a decent deal, thats about 41k for the car.

I had to call like 8 dealerships before I found one that had all the options & colors I wanted. One dealership told me, they would do a dealer trade for 1k (for searching and shipping the car to their shop) and sell me the car. I told them if they didn't find one, would I get my money back, they said no and told me it would be applied to my payment if I ordered one from their shop..... needless to say, I shopped around myself and just bought it at a different dealer.

I hate car salesmen (sorry if you are one)
