I've noticed a few people say someone's not responding in a while. Every time, I notice that the user in question has their PM settings so they probably don't know that they've received a PM. We don't enforce any rules about how you have your PM settings to trade on the forums... but it's a good idea to have them set so you're aware when you get PMs, especially if you're not logging in every day (and looking at your notifications)! Click Settings at the top of the screen. Look for the My Settings section and click General Settings. Scroll down to the Private Messaging section. It should look like this: I would recommend leaving the first two options on, so you can receive PMs from anyone. It's probably a good idea to have one of the next two items set on, too. If you log in every day, have the pop-up message. If you find you don't log in for a few days, have the forum e-mail you when you receive a PM. This should ensure you don't miss out on a sale or purchase, and avoid making other users grumpy!
I can't be sure, but it looks like there may have been a time when the forum defaulted to all off, perhaps. Older members usually have everything on... I think newer members do, too.
