Finally. A game that can teach kids that cleaning up IS fun. I seriously never heard of this game before lol.
i saw images of the game, but i still dont know what it is all about. What's the goal of the game, and how do you acheive it?
Well your a little robot that is employed by the government to stealthly assasinate members of a secret organization known as R.O.B., or: Robotic Occult Bad-ass-mofos Their sole purpose: to destroy the government and replace all the major figure heads it employes with old ROB the robot toys. . . . Ok, so it's really a game about a little robot that does household chores, and the goal is to simply do that until the game is out of objectives (from what i've heard).
I was looking forward to this but the reviews have been lack luster. I still would like to pick it up eventually but I'll probably wait a bit. EDIT: Actually, what do you think about it? Is it worth my $50?
I might get it when it drops in price. I don't think I have the patience for both it and Animal Crossing: Wild World. It looks cute, though.
sadly i used most of my best buy certificate on sfa3 for psp, but when dough come aval aplenty again, im definetly picking it up. Is it really good assembler?
It's in the vein of pikmin, it's very japanese. Some of us (like myself) relish such games. It's not perfect, but how many games like this come along? 1-2 per console? It was very expensive, $50, but I bought it to show my support in hopes they bring more games like this over.
Played chibi robo last year. Love it to bits, its such a charming game i love the whole design of the sanderson house. One weird thing is theres no bathroom, it would have been lots of fun to mess about in a bathroom too (^_^) Nothing more fun than trying to work out how to get round the house when a chair looks like a mountain. I got about 22 hours gameplay out of it in totall, it was one of my most favourite games of last year.
Pikmin was an awesome game as a matter of fact. Its just that this game (albeit it seems to be very fun and will pick it up once I get a gamecube) will probably drop to $20 bargain bin in about 2-3months time.
I played the Japanese version, with an FAQ to help the language barrier. It's a good example of the kind of game I love - the whole blus skies in games thing, there aren't any gangsters or uzis or cribs or pimped rides. Just a little robot running around picking up rubbish. Miyamoto was involved in making it, and it kind of shows. It's a game that's values fun above realism, doesn't have aspirations to be a Hollywood movie, or any of that crap. If games like that float your boat then it's certainly worth $50. If/when it comes out in Europe I'll be picking up another copy, I'd love to play it through in English without having to bother with the FAQ.
For those who are waiting for a price drop, lets just say that a small print run doesn't even begin to cover how few of these were made. They made more chaos field than they did chibi robo.
Nintendo have got it on the coming soon page at Nintendo-Europe. It says 26th of May so I guess it will be coming out in Europe. I think I will buy it, I still like to support the PAL format when I can.
i sort of think its good to support buying a game like this brand new,as assembler said to show support.maybe we can get lucky and nintendo or whoever will port over a few "wacky" japanese games that we never would have had otherwise.the gamecube is at that point now where a few games like that would be a fresh breath of air.
Really? That small? Damn. And I've heard the pikmin comparison a few times... so I guess that means I should pick it up. Thanks for that info.
They were at the register when i stopped by earlier today. Strangely enough, they didn't have any of the games...
Alrighty, I'll try to stop by this week then. Thanks for the heads up. Edit: I finally picked it up. Wow! It's awesome. I can't believe I didn't pickt this up at launch, TOTALLY worth the price. If anyone else is on the fence, don't hesitate and pick it up now.
