I went here last year and will be going again really soon. You can see from the pictures that it is worth the trip. http://www.yelp.com/biz/people-play-games-chicago
Post if you find anything good! Also note that you have to pay for parking. I don't remember how much it is but you need to buy a ticket from a machine on the sidewalk and put it in your window.
People Play games is pretty cool for weird little stuff needed to round out a collection - manuals for instance. They had a ton of game manuals when I visited a couple months ago. Their game prices are a little high for my blood though. The Exchange is not far from there and has a huge selection of everything new and old. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-exchange-chicago-3
Thanks a lot. I have to do some business today, but I will go tomorow see videogames shops. Thanks for infos.
Exchange : just some loose games/systems and prices are high (but I find the last box single of Smashing Pumpkins, so it´s cool). People Play Game : very nice store, very clean, a lot of games and systems loose, complete, mint and brand new. I take some TGX16 games, prices are a little high but I don´t pay the shipping costs to France so it´s ok.
Any other good shops to go to inthe area? Last year me and two buddies went to Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska, and this year were thinking about going to Chicago.
It is!! Their filming Transformers 3 around the corner from were I work, its a cool experience! Just keep away from the shit politics haha.
