What do you think of childs play charity? I think its a pretty good initiative myself. Yes, there are worse things in the world, but give the kids a break too! They have plenty of time to grow up and worry about other problems later...

Just too bad its a bit of a pain in the ass to participate in it from europe without a creditcard.

We are doing it on my website for the childrens hospital in the UK, everyone is paypal'ing me money and I will order a shitload of stuff from Amazon for it.

You can donate to them via paypal mind, you don't need a credit card.

Surely writing to various companies saying you are doing might get you some freebies and if you ask nicely enough you might even find out a wholesaler which will stop you inflating Amazons profit margins for charity.

If the hospital accepted crap from elsewhere, yes. As the people donating would like to know what they are donating towards, rather than say "gosh that £10 in that fund is from me!" then thats the only option. Thanks for cheapening the goodwill of others btw. Appreciate it.
