    Hello everyone!

I am attempting to clone an Xbox hard drive using Chimp 2.6 on an NTSC-US Xbox 1.4. When I hot-swap from the DVD drive to the Hard Drive and select 'Scan physical IDE devices', hdb is still detecting the DVD drive...BUT when I select 'Display slave drive security status' the hard drive is listing correctly.

I know the drive I'm using is fully unlockable and compatible (it's the same model drive I use every time for a clone), so I know that's not the problem..oh, also when I try to use Chimp 2.4 I get a rapid flashing pink screen, and cannot TELnet into the system. :(

Has anyone else had this problem?

    Thanks!

Swap the IDE cable over after booting the console but before loading Chimp. Then Scan devices and it should pick up both hard drives.
