http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKL29f-iaUU&feature=related Is the last true arcade left in new york city? Ive only started going there since 2004 but i know from word of mouth and small bits of info via google that it had been around for much more than that, and in fact was previously a chicken market lol. can any members tell me a bit about the history of this place and possibly provide some insight if you we're a have been a frequent there over the years.
NYC never had man big arcades. Stuck down in the bowery it's the last real place to find a challenging game.
Wow, that place reminds me of how grim western arcades are / were. Having to stand up to play. Playing two players was a pain because the other guy was basically on top of you. And so dark. Still, that place looks like it's got quite a few good games so a big  for that. Yakumo
:-0 they truly still exist? amongst the mafia, and minority gangs ( bloods / crips / latin kings) ive lived amongst, ive never heard anything about them ( triads)
They are probably like the Yakuza. Underground shit only. We can see Yakuza but they hardly ever cause trouble with normal people due t not wanng attention. Saying that, the dumb shit yakuza would be trouble when drinking. Yakumo
