Hey Everyone,A while ago, i've picked up some Chinese GB games that are original products and I was wondering how rare those would be? That is, they are original developed games, that include case, manual etc. The production value is actually good, because products of this type usually only have flimsy cases, and single paper inserts. In addition, the games are complete, and full. Not a tipical HK-Hack or buggy homebrew. Its odvious they spent money to develope a real product. I don't have pictures of the games (I packed them away a long time ago), but they look somewhat like PSP cases, with the game and the manual stored inside a snap-lock case. I assume these games are un-dumped, as searching for the Chinese titles return nothing. Any ideas?

Update: Here is the company logo (If I recall correctly). They are based in Guangdong China (But I purchased in Shanghai)

Hmm that is Subor (http://www.subor.com.cn/index.asp), they made some clone Gameboy units (http://jiaoyu.subor.com.cn/product_view2.asp?bigcateid=28&cateid=49&id=550) but as far I as know they weren't licensed.

I do have one of their Learning Consoles (http://jiaoyu.subor.com.cn/product_view2.asp?bigcateid=28&cateid=22&id=544), which is a Famicom on a chip computer, that has a working mouse(!), two ps1 like joypads and a interesting Famicom version of Windows and MS-DOS. It has a copy of Family Basic, a Chinese word processor and a number of awful learning games. It also has the worst keyboard I have ever used, it makes the Chiclet keyboard of the Oric 1 a pleasure to use... They have some other stuff there, like the Z10 handheld console (http://jiaoyu.subor.com.cn/product_view2.asp?bigcateid=28&cateid=49&id=597) but I've no idea what it is.

Ah. So thats what the company name is in English. I only knew them from the Chinese name. Jamtex: I also have a teaching console as well, except it is somewhat better than the models they make now. It uses regular famicom style pads that are more solid than the hollow PS2 pads they make. pit56: Gee wiz, thats a lot of Zelda games. The only licenced Chinese game I felt like getting was Metroid for the GBA (Under I-QUE brand). Aside from that, all the other stuff I have are just unlicenced games made from various Chinese companies.
