I thought you'd all find this amusing

Supposedly the sound effects are from Klonoa. Nice music though! It looks like they hacked assets from Mario Galaxy to create this. Any ideas?

<Shrugs> This was noted a while ago. I think the music is stolen as well as the sound effects. Just another Chinese clone.

Chinese are pathetic in almost everyway possible when it comes to making products. Can the ever make something that isn't a rip-off? From games to cars they're all ripped off:shrug:

As far as I know, it's freeware. So it's not like they're harming anything, especially when you consider the amount of freeware games that try to rip off a known franchise out there, ones that aren't form China at that.

If this were actually being sold it'd be a bigger deal :p

When companies lack on originality they better should do some brainstorming instead of copying other ideas.

For a clone, it's pretty damn impressive imo.

Also there are so many companies that make their money by making rip-offs. Hell look no further then gameloft. Good games but so much "what important game can we make a clone for the iphone."

Yeah, as far as rip-offs go, at least it's a pretty good rip-off.

At least in Japan they have evolved from copycats to producing original products of world renowned quality.

I think more like ripping off other countries ideas then improving upon them in many cases. Quite the opposite in China's case though. Rip off an idea and make it worse

The Japanese started the same way, and now they are the innovators.

EDIT: Damn, I should have read down before posting this. Oh well.

This is indeed true, I fully agree but the Japanese rip-offs of olden times were of high quality. Chinese products have been pretty much junk since the beginning. Even the last Olympic celebrations was faked on TV with GC. What's worse is they lie upfront about shit when it's plainly obvious they're talking bull shit. Did you ever see the English reporter questioning Geelee (SP?) about their blatant Roles Royce Phantom rip off? That was so sad to see the rep lying through his teeth as if he was telling the truth.

GC? Do you mean CG? If so, where did you hear that?

Sorry, yes, CG. It's common knowledge in Japan. One news program showed the raw footage then the image that was broadcasted. The Chinese skimped on the end celebration fireworks with only a few actually being real with the rest being CG. The woman singing was also fake. The real singer was apparently too ugly to be shown on stage. There were others as well. Needless to say that Japanese TV were really laying in to them. Nothing new there then :110:

To clarify what Yakumo said, the 2 main issues people saw with the opening ceremony of the Olympics:

    1) The opening of the games supposedly showed 'firework footsteps' leading up to the Bird Nest Stadium, which they claimed was real fireworks at the time, but eventually admitted it was CGI (although they claimed they did do it for real, but weren't happy with the results).
    2) There was a cute little kid supposedly singing a song as part of the opening celebrations, except the girl was lip-synching to another 'less pretty' little girls' song (a la Singin' in the Rain).

    Oh, and a third:

    3) There was a big show about how it was uniting all the people of China by having kids representing the different ethnic groups of the nation - except they were actually all from the same ethnic group.
