Chip Quik is this it ?

hi members , i am looking to buy this product in the Youtube video below ( forward to 0:43 ). Also i have included a link below what i think is the product over at element14 , can any one confirm thats what im looking for ?.

Yep, that's the stuff. I feel like you've linked to a particularly expensive example of it, but that's the stuff.

It's fairly expensive stuff in general, but I'd still look around at other options. I've purchased off brand varieties with good success.

You could probably buy a cheap hot air station for that kinda money...and in the usage shown in the video, I'd probably use hot air myself. However, there are situations where I still reach for ChipQuick and it's handy to have some on hand.

 

Have to agree, its a very expensive way to remove chips.

 

thanks guys for the confirm , i have shopped around and found 2 alternative places that sell Chip Quik for less than half of the price at element14 thanks for the tip to shop around.
