Incredible to say, but it's even faster than before! HTML 5 supported too, along with some early skinning. it gets so much better each time that i'm not going back to FF or IE anymore. i suggest you to give it a try at the very least.
Updated my chrome to 3 this morning. I usually have chrome alongside FF mainly using FF the most . Have noticed for some websites (those i've never visited yet on chrome or FF) load up pretty fast in chrome 3 and are about the same or marginally faster than in FF but not by that much. Will take some more use from me to decide if chrome can tempt me away from FF even if chrome doesn't have addons/plugins yet.
Version 3? According to my chrome i`m currently on version 4.0.206.1, very strange. Might have something to do with developers updates that I have enabled though.
Just downloaded and tried it, even with my damn slow connection I could see the shorter loading times, pretty impressive. I've seen some important slowdowns with Flash stuff, thought. However the lack of plugins and add-ons will make me stay with Firefox for the moment. For example, the Web Developer Tools plugin is extremely useful to find Javascript/CSS errors, Weave allows me to keep my bookmarks on my home and my work computers synchronized, and Ubiquity is just canned awesomeness.
no clue about that, but you are really missing something, expecially if your pc is not a top performer... on my old pc, and notebook surfing the web is so much better on chrome. i guess that if your machine is really fast you can go on using whaterver you've been using so far. edit: i was talking about osx version
