I've always missed the recent posts from the old forum. I've had this running locally for awhile as a tampermonkey script but I just pushed it to the chrome webstore. The script adds the text "Last Post" on the New Posts page. You hover over the last posts text and it shows you the first 300 chars of the last post. It works in all themes currently here. It works 98% of the time. The script removes quotes, videos and images (images and videos are replace with [videos] or [images]). So if someone only puts quotes in (no text at all) then the last post will essentially show nothing. There might be other bugs but I haven't encountered them.
