Cleaning/Restoring old consoles

    I'd heard about the eraser trick, and it did wonders to keep my famicom pirates clean (I hope whomever stole them does this as well...).
    I have an Intellivision cartridge with pink-ish rust-like substance on the connector, though (It's Tron Solar Sailer, to be exact), and the Eraser didn't work. I'll go look for "contact cleaner" at electronics stores this week.

    cockroaches gives me the creeps bigtime but i think i should clean my PS1/PSX console and my SNES, i just feel guilty now :-D

    I hate it how hair gets into the cartridge connector slots and a vacuum cleaner can't suck it out. Sucks that I have to use tweezers because it doesn't get all of them.
