Well just got another email today & platinum members are going to be in for a very nice suprise. If your at platinum status you have a choice of 2 presents. Either a battery cover for you wii remote customised with your own mii OR a copy of balloon fight with tingle for the DS. http://club.nintendo.jp/rank2006/index.html I went with the ds game, as i have no idea how nintendo is going to get my Mii from me & i can't be arsed with the hassle.
I can't remember if I'm platinum or not. I've got a lot of points left over though. Wouldn't mind getting Tinkle's Balloon Fight. EDIT: I'm not. DIdn't buy anything in 2005.
How can you not like Tingle. He's the fruitiest of characters, i love him (^_^) Tingle RPG was a fantastic ds game. The battery covers are ace but im in the uk so i have no idea how i would get my mii to nintendo. It was a bit too much hassle so i went with the ds game instead. Plus the game is out earlier. We wont see these items for ages yet as the ds game wont be out til april & the wii remote covers wont be out til august. To clear things up, these items can't be bought from the club nintendo shop like most things. Only if you have platinum ranking can you log in & choose one of them for free. It's sort of a thank you from nintendo for buying so much stuff from them. I look forward to the end of each year to see what goodies they will send out.
So the Tingle RPG was actually worth a damn?wow. I m impressed! I dont speak any japaneze though, so no chance of experiencing the game, right? (or was it released elsewhere?)
I must say that after registering more than enough items on NOA's site to have reached "Super Platinum Miyamoto" status I am feeling a tad bit ripped off here.
Can anybody get another one of the the tingle's baloon fight DS? I would totaly love one. I do have a few JPN DS games with unused point cards in them.

You need to have over 400 ranking points to get platinum ranking. Every time you register a game you get points you can spend & you get ranking points. Check out the page with the link i posted in my first post, im not 100% sure if you can qualify for the presents now, i was led to believe that you had to be platinum between a certain date to qualify. But if your lucky it might still be open which means you can quickly register a shitload of points to get to platinum. You not automatically sent the presents you have to click the button on the bottom of the page in the link i posted & log in your club nintendo details, then select the present you want. It will then confirm & tie the present to your club account.
Yeah tingle rpg is a very good game, the humor & style is warped in places & very unique. Because tingle is pretty much hated in the west i doubt we will ever see it in english but i live in hope that he will maybe come some day.
Whats the total points mate ,in the right most box at the top of the page on your club N account? Thats your ranking points as in this pic. Hmm as for a tingle fan translation, hehe too much work for me but theres already a japanese wikipedia out there that has a full walkthrough. I just used that & a translator.
