hi all i have buy a black fin too, the last mounth. i have try same iso from venon psico (official release) but no one woork for me (they are not on server). we cannot seen what game are on server so i cannot try game. have try fifa soccer , a my card, have make a iso and it woork fine! i think that we need a new software where we can seen the iso on server too! sorry for bad english

I got so fed up with how bad the design was I decided to make my own and see what it would take to 3D print it. I have no idea if it would be worth it but I'm willing to try if this issue persists for others as well. In the process I found a big functional flaw in their design and I'm laughing my ass off about it. 8gb worked for me It could also be the CardEMU itself, as it's quite cheap and relies on pressure on the MicroSD card to work

I only had 8gb on hand. I suggest you try 16gb just to see if it works. And thanks. Now I just need to see if what I made would fit right...

I also heard a lite version is now available! http://cobra-blackfin.com/ But since HENkaku is now available everyone will be updating to 3.60 firmware which the Black Fin has yet to be compatible with.

Thanks for the update - two things I wanted to verify with you guys: 1. Is it running on a 3.60? reading back on this thread and still am not sure if it does or not. 2. is it region restricted? meaning if I have a US vita I could only log in to the US servers and have access only to the games offered there? thanks!
The answer to the first question is No, it doesn't work on 3.60 . Which means you can't use it with henkaku atleast at the current time. I can't find any info on the second question though Pixelbutts would have to help you with that one.
Seeing how we have widespread access to homebrew these days - Is it possible to ignore the "Vita card emulation" aspect of this device, and basically, somehow, use it a SD-to-VitaMemCard adapter to e.g. store roms for retroarch on? Sony memory is expensive.

Cobra Team are now developing a solution for 3.60 in light of the exploits discovered recently, which will lead to much greater flexibility, menu system running directly on the Vita and a bunch of other exciting console side features.. We would ask anyone currently using BlackFin to remain on 3.57 OFW until we announce completion of development, at which point you can update to 3.60 OFW. Anyone currently on 3.60 OFW should not update to 3.61, since current exploits are already blocked.
lol, yeah I HATE how slow they move. They wait to make announcements about waiting some more. Do they work like 30 minutes a day on the project?
