I recently bought an NDEV and I want to use code warrior with it. When I try and run it Code Warrior says the license has expired. I've tried to set the date and time back but it doesn't work. Can you fix this?
NXP took over and still make CodeWarrior. If you haven't purchased a licence, you'd have to ask them... although I highly doubt they'd help anyone who isn't a Nintendo developer. They have archived that version of the software, so I don't know whether they'd sell you a licence. You could try, I guess. Unless you can find it on Prototopia (at your own risk), you're out of luck.
Could've sworn someone on here took a shot at cracking those license checks some time ago (1-2 years maybe?), but did not find anything right now... Still, might be worth searching around for a bit.
Theres a version from 2008 floating around online. Aside from the potential risk, there are versions that exist, and seeing as this one is post-Wii, I bet that version is what you're looking for. Unfortunately I wont be linking it as that would get me in trouble, but it IS out there if NXP wont sell you a license.
Hello, Recently, I was also looking to run CodeWarrior (for gamecube), especially the communication tool to set up a link between my TDEV and my PC. Cmonkey was very nice as he has done a crack for it. Here is the link to the thread http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/codewarrior-cwcomutil.64019/ About NXP, they are indeed still doing Codewarrior, and they have a legacy page from where you can download old softwares and use an evaluation licence (30 days trial if I remeber right). The gamecube or ps2 specific tools where not available on this page and after contacting them, I was told that they where not licencing these software anymore. Hope it may help, even if you got codewarrior to work
