[Codemasters] Toca (1997)\Toca 2 (1998)

I spent much of my youth playing these games... I still do play them from time to time...
Probably the best £30 Christmas presents (1998) I ever had!
I have always owned them on PC - and was wondering what else is out there?
Promo\Beta\artwork etc...

Does anyone have anything?

....Years, months and days playing these games on the P.C....Do you remember what happened when the lightning struck at Knockhill?

 

I used to crash - every time....
I gave up and set the weather to Sunny....

Although I seem to remember the snow option being neat down the Dunlop straight at Donnington.... while driving a Pink Caddy - or a Tank!
And then there is the Lava track......

 

...the game used to freeze for a split second....it was in the coding....it didn't matter what spec p.c you had, or whatever you did, it always happened....it was a slight climb, then a right hand bend with a hill in front of you....as soon as the hill appeared.....a flash of lightening would appear, which had not been debugged properly, hence the split second slowdown....pretty sure it's in toca2, but could be to toca, as it was so long ago, lol

 

Man, the intro music...the video...the engine sound !!! And Im only talking about the demo here...aboslutely loved it ! :'D

Yes, it wasnt the most easy game, but one of the lesser games where drifting was fun !

 

I used to play the SHIT out of the strangely named American version of part 2, Jarett and LaBonte Stock Car Racing on PSX. Great games from my teenage years.
