CodeWarrior and PRODG SNSystems

I bought some stuff a few years ago from a Midway Location that was moving into smaller quarters. Among the stuff was a SN Systems PRODG software package for the Nintendo Gamecube, and several software packages CodeWarrior for the Nintendo Gamecube. I can't find this stuff online is it rare? I went to SNSystems website and they don't quote prices for their software stating that only Sony developers can buy their products. How much does this stuff go for? Is anyone interested in trading for it?

I also have a IS-AGB-Capture by Intelligent Systems, a IS-CBG-EMULATOR by Intelligent Systems. Some hardware by a company called Media. and a game that was apparently never released for the PS2 call Dead-Light or deadlight.

What are the versions of ProDG and cordewarrior?What are the versions of ProDG and Codewarrior?
No idea of what the IS-AGB-Capture and IS-CGB-Emulator are worth, maybe take a look at past sales or ended auctions on ebay...
What are the dates of the files on the Deadlight disc?
Have you tried the game?

 

Prodg is version 3.9.1 Codewarrior versions are all version 1.3 (there are 4 of them). Both groups are complete with Codewarriors all having their box, user guide, and game development tools manuals. More pictures will be forthcoming tonight. BTW I have a Super Mario World Watch as well (don't know if it works). I also have roughly 30-40 XBOX high definition cables that came from Midway. I also have a Commodore with games if anyone is interested as well as a lot of other stuff, that is rare/unusual.

 

Hey all, I'm sorry but I read the site rules and I cannot conduct any business (trades/sales) until I have at least 50 posts. I want to make sure I don't step on any toes so I will be following your site rules as I am a moderator on a another website and want to respect the rules. As to questions i have been sent I live in California, and Deadlight is in perfect condition but I do not know what is on it as I don't have a ps2. I will post some more stuff tonight or tomorrow so you can assess what I have. No trades or sales until 50 posts sorry but I don't want to be banned. I do not have any playstation drives, but I do have a box of other stuff from Midway that was packed away. This is mostly other games and music some of which were also never released. It will take a while to check as it looks like I need to get a ps2 to test this stuff. Most of the stuff I have I have never seen on ebay or any other site. I also have ff7 strategy guide from brady games, this weird version of Ready2 Rumble 2 for N64 and some gameboy advanced software/hardware including these weird gameboys I have never seen before hope to get more pics on by tonight. ^^ Thanks for everyone's help and interest.

 

From California? All the Midway stuff I have, I bought from a local swapmeet in Victorville, California. Interesting, I wonder where Midway was located

Sorry I've been so busy lately with work here is some information that I think will be a little bit enlightening to some users and might help me as well.

First off at Cyberghost, Victorville is a ways off from Mira Mesa, but I think I know where that vendor got their stuff. Five years ago I answered an ad in craigslist from the Midway Game Corporation, they were moving from their 3 buildings in Mira Mesa California 92126, to a smallere single location in the same area. Mira Mesa and the bordering Sorrento Valley area is a hotbed for biotech and technology companies due to the large amount of office building space that was developed in the 1990's. When I arrived there roughly 8 Midway employees were overseeing the liquidation of their extra supplies, from their 3 office buildings, the woman that ran the sale was a midlevel Midway employee that was using this as an attempt to get extra money and stuff from her employer, me and roughly a dozen other people arrived and began pulling boxes out and asking her what she wanted for it. The stuff she wanted for herself she pulled out of the stuff you picked up. Among the items there were one of a kind game models, boxes of controllers for ps2, xbox, gaming discs, and hardware, they also had several dozen classic arcade sides (the artwork that used to be on the old arcade games from the 1980's). My family got what we could but because we didn't bring enough cash couldn't get everything we wanted. They closed up and what was left was sold to a business liquidation company never to be seen again. Among the things I acquired were a box of never issued videogames and music for them, and of course the rarer hardware. I have yet to find the box of never before used games I am currently still looking for it. Your stuff almost certainly comes froom this sale, it is unlikely that it came from the business liquidators as they had a store, therefore it was one of the other 11 people there at the time. I never thought I would run into another person that got stuff from that sale. Strange how the world can be so big and yet so small.

 

More pictures, The first picture is of the Ready 2 Rumble Round 2 for the Nintendo 64, picture 2 is a gameboy advance AGB Capture Compact Disk compatible with Windows 95/98/NT/2000, the version of the disk is version 1.10, Picture 3 is a purple gameboy color model number cgb-001 it does not have a back and rather than running on batteries has a plug that is similar in style to the old batteries plug that resided in the cordless phones of the late 1990's. Picture 4 is a picture of a white gameboy advance similar to the earlier gameboy color this gameboy is model agb-001, pictures 5 6 and 7 are a clear model gameboy advance model agb-001 what makes this one so interesting is that as far as I can tell there were no transparent gameboy advances issued for this model. Also at unclejun I will have pics of dead-light in a few days, sorry but i have been so busy lately. As to the players that asked me if I have any ps2 Development software, I don't know at this time, the box i described earlier had a few hundred disks in it so it is quite possible I do have some but I am not sure. Once again I must reiterate that due to site rules I may not sell anything until i reach 50 posts and I will be adhering strictly to those rules. I hope to get there soon. Rumor was that some part of the PRODG package plugged into a GameCube's serial port 2. Got anything tangible to this effect?

 

Let me get back to you on Monday APE, are you named APE after the convention in Los Angeles? (Just curious) this level of gaming is frankly over my head, also guys and gals here are th0se 2 last pics to my previous post.

 

Can't say that I am, have had this handle since '96 when I had a fascination with chimps and such.

 

Here are a few more pictures. Picture 1 is a codewarrior box, the manuals seems to be for a later version of codewarrior as the version on the boxes is 1.1 but the version on the CD itself is 1.3. There are 4 boxes of codewarrior that come with the users guide and something called the targeting manual. The second picture is of the game dead-light the next 2 pictures are of PRODG software. version 3.9.1

 

here are some detailed pictures of Dead-Light. The CD is in Mint condition no scratches. I still need to get a ps2 and see how it works. I don't expect any problems though.

 

Nice clear gameboy. I bought my midway stuff at different times. The 1st time, the seller had 2 bins full of playstation, nintendo, and sega development hardware. I was in a hurry, and low on cash so I took what I could. this seller had a lot of stuff, not just the bins that I bought, I also saw a long shelf with piles and piles of discs, loose, and in white paper sleeves. At the time, I thought they were just pirate movies or something and since I was in a hurry I didnt have time to go look. The 2nd seller told me he was the other guys brother. This is a few months later, this time I took the rest of the development hardware (was less than the last time, but all the playstation boards I thought I left behind were still there, I saw less sega and nintendo hardware) I asked about the discs, and the rest of the hardware but he said he didnt know anything about it, he was just there in place of his brother. Too bad, I regret that day so much, I wish I had just driven to the bank and came back for everything. I ALWAYS keep an eye out when I go to this flea market, but Im surprised I even found the 2nd batch of hardware at all.

 

This is a long shot but you may want to go back to that swap meet if you remember the general area that they were in and see if you can find them again. Swap Meet sellers often have regular monthly and weekly spaces that they keep for years. The reason I say this is that they may have some stuff leftover in their warehouse or storage units. the guy you describe must have been the original liquidator or someone that bought stuff by the palette from them. None of the people that showed up bought enough stuff to have what you described. They may also have contacts with Midway and so the next time they decide to get rid of stuff you get first or second chance at the stuff. What was the favorite thing you got from him out of curiosity? Did you get CodeWarrior like I did?

 

I didnt get any software. I got some blank, sealed EPROM boards for sega, some star wars game for nintendo (not sure if its for nes or snes, I'll have to find it) loose blank eprom boards, one of which is for genesis, I dont know about the rest. Other unidentified sega bits and peices. Also got many playstation development boards: 3 DTL-H2000, 6 DTL-H2500, 4 DTL-H201a. I had some parts for what I thought was a ps1 cd emulator but the person they went to recently said they were for sega cd emulator; they were made by sn systems and looked similar to the internal ps1 cd emulator. My favorite and the one I've paid most attention to is the DTL-H2500 ps1 development board.

And yes, I go to this flea market regularly (went today actually) and always keep a look out, though it's been so long i lost hope. I created a thread a long time ago where I uploaded pictures of all the stuff I got. Also got the bin, its a red plastic storage bin. the first time I didnt get a bin but I think the other one might have been dark grey if it matters.

Edit: Also, neither of the guys seemed like they knew what they were selling, I got the stuff dirt cheap.

 

I will have a box of new stuff I have not posted in about a week on. It's in my storage and I just need to dig it out.
