I've seen this referenced in the IS-VIEWER64 documentation and a few places here and thereon the web, but I can't say I've ever come across this... Does anyone have any info on it???
Well I know what I should use But I'm just asking about this piece of software, the IS-VIEWER64 software is giving me crap about needing it in order to install...
I suggest using the process monitor tool in the sysinternals suite (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/default) to monitor the registry. See if the IS-VIEWER64 is looking for keys to see if it exists. If so, then just replicate those keys. If it's not, then use FileMon to see if it's looking for the existence of a file and put a dummy file in its place.
