Colecovision Black Screen Help

Purchased a Colecovision w/Expansion Module #1.

Epansion Module works fine, but the Colecovision has the big black screen every time I try and every game I try. I hear this is a common PSU issue and/or RAM issue, but the classic "banging the console" (I was a bit drunk) brings the screen up screen for just a second before returning to black.

Wondering if this might be signifying something other than a PSU or RAM issue?

 

I would check your video connections, including the outside to the tv.
