color dreams hellraiser

    I am sure many of you heard of the 16bit nes game proposed by color dreams. The new messiah NEX got me thiking of all those proposed NES things that we never got, hellraiser being one of them. How much would it cost make that super cart today.

    I think there's a lost levels article about it. Something like it used some kind of advanced flickering to simulate more colors than the NES could push, and was to take place inside of the Puzzle Box in a first person style.

    If this game came out back then, Im sure it probably would have instigated the ESRB sooner, IMO.

    if you google image search it you can find the box art and title screen.it was decided that it wouldnt be good to sell a $80-90 game to the public especially since color dreams couldnt sell their games anywhere since people feared nintendo.
