I'd like to write a text about different variants of PS1 taking into accout its colourful models and therefore I have a few question. I know that it's the best place to ask them It is easy to find photos and information about debbuging units, 10 million model and Net Yaroze but I still can't find useful information about the rest. 1. PS1 "Men in Black" edition Does it really exist? I've found only one picture of this model with a photo in a very low resolution here. In this picture it looks rather like a custom made console and not the original product. PS1 "Men in Black" edition should have been released only in PAL system, and it is based on model SCPH-5552. It is mentioned on wikipedia but without reliable source. I'm curious why is it so difficult to find any information and photos of this model. There was only one piece of it? 2. 10 million gold edition Do you happen to know anything about this model? I'm wondering how many units of it were released and does it have any unique features apart from amazing color? I've found it only here. 3. PS1 VideoCD I'd like to buy one but it's so difficult to get it. It's even harder than buying a Net Yaroze system which I possess. Why? There should be a lot of units released of this model. I would be very grateful for any help and useful links and information about this models.
Seems kind of odd the gold one would come with a digital pad when the blue one has an analog pad.. is the gold one legit?
Yaroze are easy to find, especially the one sold in your own country. The Japanese ones don't seem to leave japan for instance. I don't know how many SCPH 5903 they made, but they do appear to be relatively rare. I suspect the remaining units are now in peoples collections, the rest probably were probably used to destruction. "But the real issue is the limited PlayStation 10 Million Gold , a gold model of PlayStation 10 Million really rare , indeed unique in the world . It is currently the "Sony EMCS Corporation Kisarazu TEC " the same as that marketed the Net Yaroze and all Debug. E ' was produced solely for purposes memorial for Kisarazu and you can admire it in the photo below "
What more information do you expect than it was a limited edition promotional item? It's featured in this list http://www.gamesradar.com/rarest-and-most-valuable-limited-edition-consoles/
