I dont imagine much more than a normal snes - anyone could pay someone to add component to their snes and likely wouldnt charge all that much to do it.

I know about what I'd charge but the value of an item is usually more than the sum of its costs.

How is a snes worth more than the price of a snes on ebay + how much someone would charge to mod it for you? Where is this magical extra value appearing from?

I never said snes + price of the parts = value

Snes is commonly available, parts to mod it also are. So its just price of parts + labour for fitting + price of snes. Its not like anything required is rare (NES PPU style)

J bought it at a fair price shipped and only about ten bucks less then a normal snes so it cost me less then having someone do the mod. Now I just hope my tv supports 240p without needing a scaler.
