Okay, so here's the scoop. So we all know that RJ11 cables fit into router LAN RJ45 ports. I know that by default, the gauge of wire that RJ11 cables have cannot support the through-put of RJ45 cables. So, if I was able to get RJ11 cables with the same gauge as an RJ45, then connected my SEGA Saturn's modem to my router, finagled some settings... would I be able to play Saturn Bomberman online this way?

I think you can share the network connection on a windows pc and connect a normal analog modem to it, then using that to create a connection to the Saturn modem. At least something like that was what people did over here with the dreamcast since BBAs were ridiculously overpriced (and not generally available in Europe)

Not gonna happend, if it fits doesn't mean that it will work in any way.

Your router is a network device and it expects a network device to be connected on its ports.

The Netlink to put it simply is a phone that exhanges data over telephone lines, not an IP device.

What it might work is to connect netlink to a voip adapter and dial another user though a voip provider.

Still this will not work because most VoIP protocols doesn't support modem communication over ip, due to the nature of the ip protocol.

I guess if you don't have someone local to dial to and play you don't have any other choises.
