The question might not add up right or translate wrong or even might be the wrong place to post, but please forgive my naive understandings. I noticed there is ways to connect and converse directly with others on this site, but I am sort of odd conversing or making friendships........ What would be the best way of reaching out to other members here on the site without presenting the sense of annoyance or strange intrusion? I mean, if you got a message from someone unfamiliar without relation to any topic(s) you have dealt with, you'd be weirded out too, right? I mean, I really would like to converse on video games and such, but unless starting a point of interest topic or adding comment/answer to another's dilemma, the average user is just sort of there. Or maybe that's just me.... Anyway, I figure perhaps others might feel the same and thought I add.
Like Chief said, join us on the shoutbox. I tend to be on from 1PM to 2am but many times I stay on till 5am. We talk about a lot of random things. It's mostly gaming related but we talk about other things too. Feel free to jump in anytime!
There's a sticky for your other hobbies here in Off-Topic. The Shout Box tends to be active in the morning and night for me, but that would depend on what time zone you're in. Just don't be rude or present false information and you'll fit in just fine. Ask questions, show interest, be attentive, but mostly just be yourself.
