Ok so I had this idea for a few days now My laptop is roughtly the same dementions as a Neo Geo AES so I'd like to get a remove able decal of an AES to put on the top of my laptop. Do such a thing exist? Could I have such a thing made (and where?)
The top of the Neo geo isn't all that intricate. You laptop is black yes? get all the details on the top of the neo geo cut into vinyl. It's basically like a sticker only more hard wearing and easy to apply/remove. I worked in a place for work experience that did vinyl decals on cars. Gold and white aren't hard/expensive vinyl colours to find and would be relatively cheap. All you would have to do Is find a place that would cut the vinyl. You could probably apply it yourself (I could even give you instructions to remove it from the vinyl backing and onto the laptop because I still remember it pretty well. Just find the fonts / get a psd of them as a solid colour and they should do the rest.
Bearing in mind it'll all be layered (ie the black as the bottom coat) and then the text and anything else will be ontop.
The vinyl is applied in mutliple layers. The black because that is the background of sorts. You would then use a vinyl cutter to create the decals of the designs IE the neo geo logo would be cut into gold vinyl etc etc.
