http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108099 :Sony registers trademark for the new controller. It's called: P oo S I dont know how credible (if at all) this is, but if it is...we know we have reached the lowest point in gaming. Naming 2 out of the 3 Next Gen consoles and controllers after bodily functions is not where I expected us to be in this Console War. Its too late for Microsoft to have a stupid name, thank God, but this is just juvenile and doesnt help the image of gamers being mature. Right now it looks like Nintendo will pee on us, Sony will shit on us, and all thats left to see is how Microsoft intends to keep up with them. I'd like to think that Nintendo's changing their name to Wii was a plan to see if their competition would get worried and have another copy Toilet nickname follow. And when the "Poos" is released, Nintendo quickly changes their name back to Revolution. Either way, playing with your Revo or Wii sounds funner than playing with Poo. I hope this is a joke, and its not a copycat attempt, but at this point, nothing will surprise me now.
POOS = piece of other shit. Its not a conspiracy. Just sony trying the "being original" with technology for the first time.
Or they will change XBL's name to V.O.M.E.T. for "Virtual Online Marketplace and Entertainment Technology".
I was going to make a bad joke about "Spunky the Hedgehog", but I don't feel like looking for a picture of Ron Jeremy...
you know in a swedish childrens book (internationally known as Pippi Longstocking) the main character goes out on a "spunk hunt" (thought I guess that the author didn't know about the english word back when the book was written)
Hmm... I'd rather not say! Go here.. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/spunk Look at example 3..!
http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=17998 Im out of shock this generation. I wouldnt be surprised if this new controller Microsoft is suggesting will have any sort of motion sensor and a stupid name to go a long with it.
reminds me the german telecommunication company "Deutsche Telekom" tried to register the color magenta and the letter "T" cant remember if they came through
