Consoles worth buying just for co-op play?

Hi, I saw a similar thread on DP forum... I think you're the author of that thread too.
So I'll reply here too, maybe it's useful for someone

CreatiVision: there's a bunch of games to play in co-op and vs. mode:

- Crazy Chicky: co-op mode with 2 "Pacman" on the same labyrinth
- Crazy Pucker: same as Crazy Chicky with graphics variations
- Air Sea Attack: 2 player versus
- Soccer: 2 player versus
- Sonic Invader: co-op mode with 2 turrets shooting
- Tennis: 2 player versus
- Tank Attack: 2 player versus

 

I'd vote for the SNES. There are so many good co-op games for it like e.g. Seiken Densetsu 2 + 3, Pocky & Rocky 1 + 2, Super Tennis, Super Soccer (although that one is not as good as the others) and so on. I'm sure with enough effort it should not be a problem to find more than two dozen co-op titles.
