Okay, so I've been neglecting my Wii for quite some time. A few weeks back my Xbox 360 died and I've been backtracking through my catalog of games. Well, I decided to pop on the Wii and update it. First of all - the Nintendo Channel has me impressied. it's like Inside Xbox on the 360, but when I'm done watching the preview I can click BUY IT and select a retailer (best buy, gamestop, wal mart) and ORDER the game. And transmit game demos to my DS. While looking through all this, I remembered hearing about Gradius and Contra Rebirth as Wii Ware. Much like last years Megaman 9 this is a new retro throwback for masochistic gamers, anyone else enojying it?
Yeah, I got Contra a few months back when it came out in Japan. Really good old retro blasting fun but too short, same with Gradius Rebirth.
let's hope they make it a decent length this time. I mean, if you can get a full PC Engine CD game on Virtual Console then why can't WiiWare games be equally as long? Yakumo
Uh, because pairing a ROM and emulator requires much less labor? Just maybe. That's very interesting that not only Contra but also Castlevania is going to get this treatment. Someday I'll buy another Wii console, hopefully after some price cut.
