Well this is the story, I remember back in 2002 I saw the dreamcast for the first time in a video game because they were playing the Sonic and was delighted with what I saw but as always something I did not like I remember it was over, the detail that did not understand was the cable, making it that way? standing is to play or what the reason Sega so I design, and a day later I thought I could do something. Here the modification is very simple and does not need more than a flat file (a triangular not serve) and a piece of hacksaw to make the mod. The basic idea is to make a square slot the same size of the original shot but do it in the place you see in the pictures, you also need a screwdriver or a very thin needle to take off the plastic that you can see that he walked, just give him a few laps surrounding the needle between the cable and peel off the plastic and then runs to accommodate the cable looks like the result is that control is now more like the xbox. Also mention that I have 4 controls and use the most broken corners and more marked by the dog. I hope the mod be useful ... Pd:tanks to google traslate xD
Very good! I'm somewhat surprised I haven't seen someone do this mod before. Did you do anything to plug up the original hole on the bottom? I think having an open hole where the cord used to come out would bother me if I did this mod.
I know it would block A2, but does the jump pack even work if its in A1? Or are the signals from the game only going to the second slot?
The Jump pack works regardless of slot, for example the purupuru also works on the HKT-7300 arcade stick or HKT-7500 Twin Stick and those only have an A1 slot.
oh, it'll work on A1 slot. It's just not recommended by Sega to use the jump pack on that slot simply because the jump pak's latch hook has nothing to hook itself to on the controller (keeping it firmly connected to the controller during those intense rumble moments). This of course does not apply to the the arcade stick, VOOT twin stick. Anywho, sure you can have your jump pak on slot 1 on the controller, but where does that leave placement for your VMU, Memory card...
is true there i dont test with jump pak maybe are troubles, i think SEGA did so the control because something.
the standard setup doesn't bother me but cool and handy mod for anyone who does get annoyed by the cable. dont know if this inter-fears with the controller pack but not many people would be using them anyway
i find the main problem to be the god awful d-pad, shame on sega! but i assume they assumed d-pads were on their way out
