I have this scenario: I have a game bought on Live, but can't download it. It's blocked by IP address. And I have the same game on physical media. It's possible to install to hdd, convert it to Game on Demand, and go to Live and "download" it just for the authentication? Will the data converted from the install to GoD works?
Seems like it would be MUCH simpler to route your traffic through a VPN in the appropriate country and download the game that way.
I don't know any good free VPN. Used in the past one to download some arcade games. But full sized games will take ages.
Not sure if we're allowed to post links from this site, but had a quick read over this bud, looks like it might be right for you, f you have an account. http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/how-to-get-any-god-for-free-no-jtag.1030368/
That method is actually patched by MS and will result in bans. This method also worked for DLC/XBLA games some 2 ish years ago. I'd not do it if you value your account. Edit: Reading through the thread, Seems it follows nearly the same method as the non-JTAG "exploit" MS could patch it if they care to do so. I'd personally still not do it.
