You know, Konami had virtually the same thing (head motion detection without sensors attached) several years ago in Police 911 for the Viper arcade system, and if I remember correctly it used very similar technology to that used for the Wiimote. They also had a sword fighting game for that system that uses a controller very reminiscent of the Wiimote.
