You meant connect them to your TV at the same time? Just get one of those multiple scart boxes from eBay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=22639&item=5786038301&rd=1
Yep. Check on ebay for one. Make sure you get the right one - MD1's and 2's have different AV Out Ports
yeah on the md1 there is no scart on the back just an 8 pin din hole and normal ariel socket ---- edit found one cheers guys
Dude, what the heck is scart anyhow? I know its for video, but is it suppose to be alot better then s video and vga boxes and junk, does every system use it, and ive never seen a tv with scart on it. Ive actually never had anything more advanced then stock video cables, as my tv sucks and I can't really afford new tv's or cables, so I dunno much on it. I was thinking about getting a VGA box though...I have 2 17" crt moniters. Haha when I was typing scart above I accidently typed scat.
PhreQuencYViii scat would be some very shitty enema fun. Scart is http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/phil/videostudio/images/scart.jpg and this http://tvtool.info/jpgs/cableguide/scart.jpg
SCART is a 21 pin AV connector generally only used in europe. Its an all in one connector, that always carries composite video and stereo sound (where applicable both in and out) and can carry also either RGB or S-Video. For games RGB is better than S-Video due to games being generated internally in RGB, therefore RGB output requires less encoding. SCART also has certain control pins - For example, it can automatically switch to the scart input when, say, you turn your console on. It can also set the aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) and possibly a few other fancy things. Darn useful connector
It is also much easier to adapt an scart connector to an arcade machine because of the RGB output. Mmm, Atari Gopher arcade machine...
Indeed, my Supergun doesn't even have a PCB, just a few wires from JAMMA to SCART for the video, to a little speaker for sound and to a DB15 for control. I forgot to add some way to regulate the video, so the colours on Astra Superstars are washed out :-(
Bloody tons. You'll be paying at least £200 for anything semi-decent. Add to that shipping, and a beefy step-up required to use it US power supply, and its gonna be a lot of money.....
