http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja4v9UWzDjo Will be interesting to see how they play this one off seeing as it made it to RT. Fucking pigs like this let down the good cops. A point to notice is a cop later lays knees in arresting somebody who isn't resisting...
If this were anywhere else in the world, the US would be calling for an invasion and aid to the oppressed.
Rofl , they should have known that after a long period of time loitering will be dealt with mace to the face. You know it man. Someone who has 2 and 2 together bravo, you want a cookie.
Davis, about an hour from me. Middle of nowhere in farm land college but pretty nice overall. I've seen another video from another angle and it's clear he shows the crowd what he is about to do by spraying a burst into the air then goes point blank at the kids on the ground. The crowd chases the pigs away after a few minutes but they probably felt their point was made by spraying the protestors. The chancellor called the videos "chilling". Have fun with the investigation though, the guy doing the spraying is supposed to be the one who handles complaints against his own department. Ooops.
Man I from what I see they get rowdy when someone tries to get them out of the street. Also not everyone in the crowd is so peaceful.
After serving a stent in the military, they are known as passive aggressors(if they were blocking some sort of needed resource to the community). You are given the order to remove them, but you have to do it such a way where you don't put yourself or others at harm. The video doesn't show where they are at. Or the circumstances leading up to it. I was worried by your comment with the point blank statement that maybe they were pointing streams of pepper spray in the eyes, which are powerful and have the hypodermic needle affect. Either way, what I saw was pepper spray fog which has no known after affects(after 24 hours at least). and the police not letting them go because they are now responsible for there well being(imagine if that kid ran out into a street and got hit by a car). They weren't holding them down because they were "resisting". These "pigs" did nothing out of the ordinary. They did what they are trained to do. To bad there is only 1 side to the story and no precursor. I have got hit by military grade pepper spray(between cop and bear spray), believe me it hurts about as bad as getting hit in the nuts, but unlike getting hit in the nuts, there is no possibility for permanent damage.
He pinned him down and appeared to be arresting him. Explain the two people to have to use their weight and knees to stop somebody who has been pepper sprayed. I wouldn't call sat down being rowdy. It really kicks off (and by kicks off, i mean the shouting) when the pepper spray is used.
You freak out when you get sprayed.... randomly. You need to contain the person for at least 30 minutes, or pass them on to someone that can watch them. Its better to put a knee on the lower back and the legs(also arms..etc), than the abdomen or face, this allows the person to breath:shrug:. Is this video cut alot due to time constraints, or cut at the right moments to inspire emotional outrage? The world will never know. Nothing in this video shows there was any wrongdoing by the police unless the precursor is shown. Lets face it riot gear is a lot more humane than in the 60's and 70's. Which unfortunately gives the "man" the upper hand. I know I hate me some pigs who randomly pepper spray me, knee me in the back and throw me on the ground, just for fun. But I got a feeling it wont happen tomorrow. Lets say they were blocking a needed resource to the community(because the video has no precursor). What would you do if they were passively resisting? Because the other option i know is, to press your thumb into there shoulder muscle and lift there arms behind them(works when the police outnumber the protesters 2 to 1, encase they get "rowdy").
