A bit of a costly route. Just I've won an icedcube case (poor wallet), not yet arrived. Don't want their now-steep price going to waste! Any particular discs and writers that suit GC well? Or do I already have usable ones? I'm not too familiar with this subject because most consoles are less picky. Used to whatever I throw at a system working. BTW no. I haven't yet tried my two mini DVD burns that don't seem to play on GC, using the Wii. I'll need to get around to it. What I have: Acer ATAPI DVD A DH16A1S, SATA (OEM from Lite-On) Lite-On SOHW-1673, USB I/O Magic IDVD8P, USB (don't know if it even functions, due to no power supply) Ridata mini DVD-R 4x HP DVD-R 16x
I use Ritek G05 DVD-R and burn backups with ImgBurn. The packaging looks like this http://img.myshopping.com.au/rsz100..._OEI1MkZDRjdBQjEyRTMxRkNBMkQ1N_E3ODhCM_IuanBn I have used Ridata full size discs when I first installed vipergc and they worked for a while, then my GC refused to read them.
