Do what I do, live in the past. I make a list of games/consoles I want and wait till the generation ends. Remember when intellivision games were $50? Remember when NES games were $50? Remember when Sega Genesis games were $50? Well, I've been around long enough to know to wait. Sure, I bought some consoles at launch, but for the most part, I wait to do my spending when the next generation is out. I have games coming out of my ears, so I can be patient with new titles, unless it's Zelda, or Final Fantasy.
f'(x) = 3PS^2 (If we consider "PS" just one variable). I think, I haven't done calculus in like 5 years. Anyway, it does cost the same as three PS2s, so you might be in to something there.
If f(x) is the price of a PS3, then the answer is zero since the price is constant and the derivative of a constant is zero.
Humm... I was thinking it would just be 3. Since I interpreted it as PS * 3. But if you consider that PS is being cubed... then yeah, it would be 3PS^2. As for the original post... yeah, I've considered this. It is quite funny.
People on these forums pay more than that for prototypes of unfinished games that are mostly there for decoration so please stop bitching about the ps3 price?
Your probably better suited to the following sites: www.systemwars.com http://www.gamespot.com/forums/index.html People here tend to have jobs, and spend a whole lot more than 600$ on prototype and dev items. 600$ isnt very much to these people.
Loving the impromptu Calculus Conversation! im going for f'(x) = 3PS^2, as sony would tell you that the ps2 isnt 2x better than the ps1, its the same as ps1^2...
You are correct ;-) The answer is 0, as in the number of PS3's I will have when it launches, and for quite some time thereafter.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060511/tc_nm/expo_microsoft_dc_1 And you said this post was spam Evangelion . Looks like MS and Nintendo agree .
if MS and Nintendo "share" the pie, there could be legal proceedings from Sony's side for competition issues etc. I wouldn't go beyond what they said if I were MS. But I m sure their lawyers are paid enough to advise them on that.
If that announcement says anything, it's that Microsoft don't consider Nintendo to be a rival in their territories. If Wii launches and starts outselling the 360 by 10 to 1, you watch him start raving about how the 360 gives twice the performance per dollar, doesn't rely on cheap gimmicks, has a huge market lead blah blah blah. He's Microsoft's vice president - it's his job. Just like Iwata will continue to bang on about how great the Wii is.
because bananas have a perfect shape that suits purposes that apples and oragnes dont. A lady would say. To that point, there's surely an audience for the Ps3 that having 360 and Wii just won't cut it for them.:Girl:
Heh, I just took the Calculus AB AP exam last Wednesday. It was cake compared to the Chemistry AP Exam last year. Anyways, to get on topic, I'd rather just get a Wii only and be happy
