It's practically in English right there, just has to be cleaned up a little bit. You're not going to find out something new and profound when it's translated by a person... Technology is your friend.
That's already been in the news in english. Revolution is going to be cheaper than ps3 and xbox 360. And they sold 5 million ds units so far this year in Japan.
On the 27th, Nintendo CEO Iwata Satoru said in regards to the price tag of their next generation game machine Revolution (working title) will be in a different price range than both Microsoft and Sony game machines, stating they were aiming below the retail price tag of 39,795 yen of Microsoft's Xbox360 which went on sale earlier this month. Also, it's been noted that their handheld game system Nintendo DS which went on sale in December of last year has sold over 5 million units nationwide.
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think that article, and Japanese in general translates directly into English as GaijinPunch wrote it. In fact, I imagine the Babelfish translation is perfectly (more or less) translated word for word. The problem is that when it's translated word for word, it doesn't sound right in English...so it has to be cleaned up...like GaijinPunch so graciously did. I can't imagine it sounds as he wrote it when translated word for word from English. Or am I just totally wrong?
Babelfish is actually pretty poor at translating Japanese in to English. What it does is convert the Kanji in to one of the many English meanings without taking any of the grammar in to consideration which leads to some crazy translations at times. Yakumo
Yakumo & Blur are actually both right. Japanese (or probably any Asian language for that matter) just doesn't work word for word in English. I think my translation is accurate, and good enough even publish. The problem w/ automatic translators is that 1: They don't yet know context. And 2: (the ones that I've seen) don't translate katakana words... not well anyway. No problemo.
If you guys MUST use a translator then I recommend the OCN one provided by my Internet provider for Japanese who want to read English pages. http://www.ocn.ne.jp/translation/ It isn't perfect but it does do a hell of a better job than other out there. It does sort of work with context to a certain degree. It can do the following. English to Japanese Japanese to English Japanese to Chinese Chinese to Japanese Japanese to Korean Korean to Japanese The only bummer is that the page it's self is in Japanese so here is Yakumo's photoshop guide (^v^) Yakumo
I use that too, thanks to an old thread, might be buy/trade. I've been using it since then. Lately, thanks to that translator, I knew that neocdz wouldn't be developed anymore. And I can also read those nice sega pages
