That's got tot be a joke site. Otherwise they deserve to be taken. On the subject of fakes though. I've seen a couple of Ferrari kit cars that you'd be hard pressed to figure out if they were original or not. You'd have to take a close look or know what the engine should sound like to be able to tell.

It's a joke site. I've seen some of the cars on other sites that say how crappy they look. Other than that I saw a corvette but it had a ferrari body kit. Who in the world would think the corvette can pass off as a ferrari let alone that there is a company that actually makes them in a first place. I think of it as an insult to both the corvette and the ferrari.

Usually Fiat's were used as the bodies for Ferrari kits. That's what they used for the car in Ferris Buller's day off. Fake or not I'd have taken it.
Of course it is a joke! Noone in their right mind would take that seriously! Maybe they are taking the piss out of said advert? I mean, c'mon - we all know what a Mini looks like. It looks nothing like that yellow stretch thing, which is about 6 foot too long. We also all know damn well that the Union Jack is painted on, not just a flag draped on the roof!! It is a joke, although its not an amazingly funny one.
i will bet money that it is a paid advertising campaign, both site and tv spots, by BMW/mini, along the lines of the old lee 'supergreg' site and all that stuff
